Hermes London flagship store in the heart of fashionable Sloane Street.
Truly aesthetic and beautifully flowing feature staircase in one of the worlds most iconic fashion houses.
Complex curves with cantilevered section, this staircase meanders from ground floor through to the first floor gallery incorporating two half landings.
Our design engineers crafted the balustrade base fixing detail in order to conceal the welding of the spindles to the stringer.
Beech timber clad treads and risers with recessed stainless steel nosing strips, give a warm and subtle texture to this masterpiece.
Hermes used their own specially selected leather and had their in house craftsmen hand stitch it around circular timber core with no visible joints.
Balustrade was painted off site before it was finally installed and before soffit was plaster finished.
Soft ceiling lighting reflects off the polished plaster walls highlighting the subtle curvature.
