Luxury High Street shoe retailer Kurt Geiger has opened its largest and most glamorous store in Covent Garden. Designed by retail architects Found Associates, as well as visual expert John Field, this 4,000 sq ft flagship store has been designed as a 'jewellery shop for shoes' - a showcase for the very best of Kurt Geiger's collections. An amazing shoe chandelier, created from more than 250 shoes is the main feature, however, it is the skilled use of materials and finishes that make this such a clever piece of design.

Elite Metalcraft were approached to help in the design and manufacture of a very special stainless steel chandelier for the world renowned shoe designers Kurt Geiger. Once the light was added the whole chandelier came alive showing how combination of Stainless Steel, Perspex and light can create amazing modern designs.

Elite Metalcraft is proud to have been chosen to manufacture The Kurt Geiger Chandelier for its new store concept. It was designed by John Field and following extensive development work by Elite Metalcraft it has become an Icon for the Kurt Geiger brand.
The concept has fascinated the public to such an extent that it is photographed regularly by people just passing by the store.
We have produced several combinations of the original design, both in mirror polished stainless steel and patinated mild steel. The largest can accommodate 252 shoes positioned around the inner and outer rings.
The latest revolving version for their Grafton Street store is an engineering work of art. It rotates at approximately 2-4 rpm and has a special slip ring to power the lights when running.
